       Oil Painting from Still Life with Karen Brake is a Tuesday evening class from 6:00- 8:00 PM
The next six-week session starts Tuesday, September 1, 2009.  Class fee is $100 for six weeks. 
This class is for beginning and intermediate painters. Working from the still life each week, Karen teaches drawing, composition, color mixing and learning to see colors in their appropriate values.

Karen received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from University of North Texas in 1986. After receiving several degrees in commercial art, Karen spent 20 plus years on her career in graphic art, illustration, and web design for the entertainment and communication industries. During her years as a commercial artist, she was commissioned for several paintings and found that the lure of the brush was mightier than the mouse.  A supply list will be provided.     Impressionistic Oil Painting with Char Cee.  With a Model.
Wednesdays, October 7, 14, 21, & 28    6:30 - 8:30 pm  $45 for 4 lessons + $5 Model fee per class

         Watercolor Painting with Char Cee.   "Bringing in the Autumn"  
November 7 & 8 (Saturday & Sunday) 10 am - 2 pm   60 for the two days
Will also do some plein aire in the field.

   Char Cee is a noted watercolorist who also works in oils.  Char Cee has a large market for her works and is very prolific.  Her style is loose and free and fun – whether watercolor or oil.  Char Cee is a favorite with visitors to Southern California and has a large following south of the border.  Many of her paintings can be seen in her "studio" within Gallery 204. She is also a past president of COAL gallery in Carlsbad and noted for her excellent demos.  See www.charcee.com.
